Mira Sorvino's father Paul told paparazzi how he feels about Harvey Weinstein and he didn't hold back

“I will kill the motherf**ker. It’s real simple. All right thanks, take it easy.”

LAST MONTH, IT emerged that Harvey Weinstein had been warning Hollywood directors not to work with certain women who he had deemed “difficult”.

Peter Jackson recounted a time in the 1990s when he was considering hiring Mira Sorvino and Ashley Judd for his massive Lord of The Rings series. Weinstein’s company Miramax told Jackson that these two women were ‘a nightmare to work with’. Jackson said he had no reason to question it, and as a result, he steered clear of these actresses.

With the hindsight Jackson has today, he realised that he had been fooled into believing Weinstein’s ‘smear campaign’ against these actresses.

When Mira Sorvino heard that Peter Jackson had admitted following Weinstein’s instructions, she was understandably upset. She wrote on Twitter:

Just seeing this after I awoke. I burst out crying. There it is, confirmation that Harvey Weinstein derailed my career, something I suspected but was unsure. Thank you Peter Jackson for being honest. I’m just heartsick.

Sorvino’s father Paul, who is also an actor (some of his most notable movies include Goodfellas and Romeo & Juliet) was grilled about the whole situation by paparazzi yesterday.

TMZ asked the 78-year-old:

What were your thoughts when you heard about Harvey Weinstein derailing your daughter’s career by actively trying to blacklist her from Hollywood?

Paul attempted to give a calm response, but it was not long until he became quite angry.

Easy to understand. He started off by saying:

If I were to answer you, I might put everybody in jeopardy. But if I meet him on the street… He better hope he goes to jail. If we come across… I think he’ll be lying on the floor, somehow. Magically.

TMZ’s reporter told Sorvino that the DA is apparently ‘making strides’ in the case against Weinstein, to which Paul calmly replied “He’s going to go to jail.”

Good for him if he goes, because if not, he has to meet me and I will kill the motherf**ker. It’s real simple. All right, thanks. Take it easy.

Sorvino was then asked if he had known the extent of the Weinstein allegations, to which he replied “No, I did not. I sure didn’t.”

If I had known it, he would not be walking. He’d be on a wheelchair.

Sorvino then praised his daughter for standing up to Weinstein. He said that Mira was a  “wonderful person and a courageous human being.”

She doesn’t deserve to have been treated this way by this pig. So, this pig will get his comeuppance. The law will get him. He’s going to go to jail and die in jail, but if he doesn’t… Harvey, c’mere, I have some news for you. I’ll just slap him around. I won’t do anything terrible.
